Military Model - MilMod - is a resin model range of the well known Aviation Megastore in Amsterdam-Schiphol. In 2016, the first Resin kit in 1:72 scale was
presented at the IPMS-Internationals in Telford with the transport and loading vehicle (TEL) for the nuclear missile Minuteman II - a remarkable model of
about 25 cm in length / height. This kit was a great success for the young company despite its rather high selling price. Since then, the label has
frequently become renowned for its limited short run production of exclusive exotic models . The masters of these kits now come from corresponding fans
and master model makers from all over Europe.
The first 3D designed model the M520 Goer is now available. The current models of the Byrd Snow Cruiser 1940, gigantic fire fighting trucks, or pontoon
ferries are by no means the end of the model range. The MilMod team is extremely creative when it comes to exotics, and is not afraid of tackling
larger objects. At present, the range already includes around 90 resin kits. All are usually made in mini-runs of between 10 to 25 pieces only. So they
are almost unique and accordingly sold out very quickly. Reissues are produced regularly, but have a waiting list.
The MilMod range is divided into:
# a purely 1:72 series - recognizable by the kit numbers MM 072 xxx
# a common accessory series for scale 1/72 and 1/76 kits Kit-No. MM 072 08x onwards
# and an Airfield series scale 72/00, so 1: 74/76 - recognizable by the kit numbers MM 000 xxx.
