After the war a lot of people from Europe emigrated to other countries to try to start a new life. Some relatives from my wife has emigrated to Canada, some to Australia and South Africa. We have visited our relatives in Canada in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2006. We stay in the house of one of our relatives in Toronto and have visited several places. We will show the visitors of my website some pictures that we have made.

Mississauga, suborb of Toronto.

Some other nice houses

The Canadians haves a lot of space. You found it back in the sizes of the houses and the properties around the houses.

Houses from more fortunate people

Normal houses

Building houses
vac04/hou-10.jpg vac04/hou-11.jpg vac04/hou-17.jpg vac04/hou-12.jpg

The frame / inside from the Canadian houses are from wood and chipwood. Only the outside is from stone or synthetic material. This in contrast with the Europian building style where the inside and outside is from stone.

The old style / old size houses
