The owner of MPK Modellbau is Peter Kuonen. Peter is for years a talented caster and mastermodeller and have made several masters for the modeling manufacturers FSF in Germany and ALBY in France.
Some models he has made with Michel van den Berge for FSF are Kubelwagen (3 variants), 2cm Flak, Dodge Ambulance, Shermans (different variants) and for ALBY Dukw, Steyr 1500 (3 variants), SiG 33, 7,5cm Haubitze, Sd.Kfz 250 (all variants), Bedford LKW, 2,8cm Panzerbuchse, leichter Infanteriekarren and more.

If customers has "fear" because of alleged high cost to buy in Switzerland is not longer true! This opinion holds, but Switzerland is already for
years in the "Schengen area" and with my Euro account also recommended for EU members.
The shipping with the Swiss Post, which in comparison with other countries also still acceptable (Letter to 2 kg).

For EU citizens, buying models in Switzerland is no more difficult than in other countries inside the EU.

The kits are excellent and have regarding the kits from "MACO" the same high quality. The tracks are in one lenght and in hard plastic and
have to fould around the suspension. In first instance we will thinking that it's impossible and you will become problems, but the manufacturer has
quarantee me that the tracks are casted on a special way and that foulding around the suspension is possible on a simple way and without problems
as broken tracks etc.

Das sollte schon einige deiner Fragen beantworten.
Bei der Fahrzeugkette handelt es sich um eine Spritzguss-Konstruktion mit Soll-Biegestellen ( oder Soll-Knickstellen). Das hat viele Vorteile!
Die Konstruktion haben wir ausgiebig getestet. Man kann die Kette an den entsprechenden Stellen prima biegen, ohne dass sie auseinanderbricht!
Das funktioniert in der Praxis bestens.
Ich habe mich gefragt warum noch niemand auf diese Idee gekommen ist. Wir sind die Ersten im Modellbaubereich mit solchen Plastikketten-Losung.

Like the Demag, this one is also moulded by Maco from Germany so the mould quality will be top notch. It looks like the tracks are in two halves this
time although I've asked Peter to clarify that for me. It should be out around the end of the year or early next year and when its out I will do

Comments Peter Kuonen:
Der Kit besteht aus 43 fein detailierten Einzelteilen und wurde in einem neuartigen ABS Resine hergestellt.
Dieser neuartige PU Kunststoff ist uberraschend flexibel. Die Einzelteile konnen leicht und ohne Beschadigung vom Anguss entfernt werden.
Das Verkleben der Einzelteile ist, wie ublich bei diesen Kleinserienprodukten, mit 2K-Klebstoffen (z.B. Araldit 5 Min)
und/oder Sekundenkleber (Zyanoacrylate) ohne Schwierigkeiten moglich.
Das Master wurde von Peter Kuonen (MPK) und Michel van den Berghe (MvdB) gebaut.

Zeitaufwendige konstruktive Arbeiten an meinen neuen MK72 Spritzguss - Modellen, haben mich gezwungen die Produktion der PUR - Kits Stuart M5A1 Early / Late, sowie Stuart M8 auf einen späteren Zeitpunkt zu verschieben.
Diesbezüglich bleibt die Planung, diese PUR-Modelle mit flexiblen Ketten und gedrehtem Rohr (Stuart M5) auszustatten, erhalten.
Die flexiblen Ketten werden ebenfalls aus einem PUR-Harz gegossen, dass ausgezeichnet geklebt (Cyano) und bemalt (Enamel / Acryl) werden kann.

The tracks will be fabricated on a machine, because for accuracy, the hand made is to poor.The resin cast of the small tracks will be very flexible,
so that they can't break. Two versions will come out,one for the hotter regions and one for the western campain. Each version has two individual figures.
