I don't know how Armageddon kits are priced in other countries, but in Holland these kits priced very high. (around 17.50 Euro for the LCVP and LCA & 86.00 Euro for the BP44 Panzertrain). It seems to me that the kits are just too high priced for the quality of the injection moulding. The plastic used is from different (bad) qualities. The sprues are very thick and badly cast. The parts have a lot of flash, and are sometimes distorted, etc. The parts also need a lot of cleaning up. The passing are sometimes very poor. This manufacturer doesn't have the same quality as other manufacturers. The quality could be much better. It seems me that the casting has the same quality as the poor Studebaker from manufacturer "Cooperativa". I think a lot of modellers remember this bad kit. But, the kits are very rare and interesting for modellers. I will advise these kits for the more advanced modellers with a lot of patience and experience. With updating, reworking, and a lot of patience you can achieve a nice result.
Advice to Armageddon / Mach2, please rework the kits, use better plastic and better moulds, they can a lot better!!!!
