Built 7StarHobby model by Charles Saftner from the USA

A few notes by Charles Saftner that might interest you:
1. I don't know if it was my old paint or the resin used but it took 3 coats
to hide the white resin. Even still there are some variations in color,
which I thought made it look a bit more real anyway.
2. The main turret sits in the turret ring and is just snug enough to not
fall out but still rotate. Good job by 7star.
3. I used some plastic from a sprue for the missed main cannon. I drilled a small
hole in the front for added effect.
4. The thing above the main cannon was flat at the end. The pictures seemed
to make it look beveled so I rounded it off.
5. One of the 4 round radiator holes was all messed up. It should have a
mesh effect. I didn't take the time to correct it and just capped it off
flat.
6. The kit did come with basic instructions, which did help a bit but mostly
just proved the cannon and bottom cover were missing.
7. The underside was hollow so I fabricated a cover from sheet metal. There
are nice grooves for exactly where the cover should go.
8. The 8 rollers were flat dowels of resin. The pictures seemed to indicate
a raised or possibly recessed area on each one. I took leftover parts from a
plastic kit and glued them on. I think they look nice.
9. The front light was again added by me. Pictures seemed to indicate a
light in the front. Mine is maybe a bit small but whatever.
10. As I mentioned I didn't like the small front wheels so I made my own out
of some coins and nail heads.
11. As with many kits the tracks were probably the low point. It was nice
that they were semi flexible thus allowing easier assembly but they were
poorly cast and still easy to break. Due to my larger wheels I also had to
fabricate some extra track.
12. As with most resin kits it came with no decals. I think companies should
go the extra mile and offer decals. They aren't difficult to create.
13. I left off the antenna but may add one later if I feel like it.
14. The kit is bought from an Ebay auction.
